BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

Dr. William V. Jordan is a chiropractic physician practicing his chosen profession at the Jordan Chiropractic Center located in South Charleston. WV. The clinic has a regional practice serving not only the immediate community but many surrounding communities as well. The principle specialty of the clinic is neuromusculoskeletal conditions of the body, with special emphasis on spinal disorders.

Dr. Jordan became affiliated with the Jordan Chiropractic Clinic in 1981. Before that time and beginning In June of 1973 he was in private practice in the town of Milton. WV.

Dr. Jordan served as a staff member of a clinic, which was a physical medicine/rehabilitation facility that incorporated a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, employing Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Certified Athletic Trainers, Psychologists, Chiropractors, Family Physicians, and Physiatrists. Dr. Jordan was Instrumental in the planning of the physical facility that employed a staff of 22. Additionally, he developed the policy and procedure manual, which governed the practice.

Dr. Jordan has devoted his entire adult life to the management and treatment of neuromusculoskeletal disorders. He has managed over 12,000 cases while emphasizing long term stabilization of each case as the standard for outcome assessment. This approach incorporates both active and passive care with particular attention placed on proper instruction in activities of daily living and vocational ergonomics.

Dr. Jordan has post-graduate education in functional medicine and does incorporate nutrition and wellness programs in the management of all cases as an integral component of the recovery process.
